It is what it is.
"I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints."
I attended service for the first time last Sat, simply because persistence is, was and always will be a quality and trait I really admire in people. Amidst all that hypnotizing chantings, feel good ambience, occasionally inspiring quotes and analogies by pastors, peer pressure to yield, submit and raise my hands, what I witnessed and felt wasn't the love of God, but rather the yearning among church go-ers towards unconditional love. For that passing glimpse, it felt so good to dismiss all skepticism and submit to just believe.
To seek refuge in an oasis of serenity within the realm of belief.
But I came back to grounding reality anyway.
"You need to be constantly comfortable with being uncomfortable in order to grow/"
" For when did I realise I was god?"
Well I was praying one day and suddenly I realized I was just talking to myself."
ALMOST ALWAYS.
